TRUST-BASED RELATIONAL INTERVENTION
Trauma can show up in our brains and bodies in ways that are unexpected and persist for years without intervention. Identification of trauma is important in mental health treatment because the therapies often used to treat symptoms of depression and anxiety using a cognitive approach. Trauma impacts the integration of brain systems. Often, individuals respond best to brain/body approaches before engaging a cognitive approach for healing. You will learn how you've been impacted and discover what you need to heal. TBRI is one of the most successful interventions for children's problematic behavior.
TBRI CAREGIVER TRAINING
TBRI Caregiver Training is a comprehensive set of specific skills and tools delivered to caregivers, teachers, and other professionals in a relational environment.Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to address attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. TBRI® is designed for children who have a history of abuse, neglect, and/or trauma. Because of their histories, these children have changes in their bodies, brains, behaviors, and belief systems. These changes make it difficult for them to trust the loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing and challenging behaviors. The TBRI® Caregiver Training offers practical tools to help caregivers see the “whole child” in their care and meet their unique needs, in order to help that child heal and reach their highest potential. The training can be delivered privately or in a group setting. Call the office (208)273-9147 or email us at hello@ raisingresilienceidaho.com for our next session.
TBRI GROUPS FOR KIDS (4-18)
